Legal E-Billing Specialist

80,000 - 95,000

The E-Billing Specialist supports the firm's electronic invoicing operations by ensuring client bills are accurately prepared, submitted, monitored, and processed in accordance with client requirements. This position works closely with billing teams, attorneys, pricing personnel, clients, and third-party vendors to resolve billing issues and maintain efficient invoice processing.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate client billing profiles, attorney information, billing rates, and related financial data across internal and external systems.
Prepare, review, and submit electronic invoices through client portals and third-party billing platforms.
Monitor invoice submissions, identify rejected or delayed bills, and coordinate corrections and resubmissions.
Review client billing guidelines and ensure invoice submissions comply with established requirements.
Assist with billing system updates, client account implementations, and electronic billing platform configurations.
Maintain client billing procedures, submission instructions, and supporting documentation.
Prepare reports to monitor invoice activity, rejection trends, and outstanding submissions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of experience in legal billing, e-billing, or accounts receivable.
Experience with electronic billing platforms such as BillBlast, CounselLink, Legal Tracker, or Tymetrix.
